Emergency Update: Switch Swap

Emergency Update: We’re putting in a new switch in MIA-01 some users may experience some brief downtime.

Update: New switch is in and all network access is completely restored.

Update: 8:15PM EST – We have noticed a few lost packets and will run a few diagnostic tests, a brief downtime may be experienced no longer than 5 minutes. Updates soon.

Emergency switch maintenance

We will be doing an emergency core switch maintenance starting now. Expected downtime is around 5-10 minutes.

Update: The maintenance is now complete and new firmwares have been applied.

Xen stack update on all nodes.

We’re rebooting some nodes as we update our Xen stack. It should be around 10 minutes downtime, we’ll update when all nodes are updated and the restarts are finished.

Update: All Webbies are up, downtime wasn’t more than 5 minutes.

DoS Attack at MIA01

This morning we experienced a 30 minute downtime caused due to a DoS Attack. We had our engineers at the DC and the attack was mitigated in at around 10:30AM EST.

We will keep monitoring for any further attacks.
