The additional CPU usage shouldn't be caused by the Xen bug, since all instances are 100% isolated from each other. My ssh sessions just appeared to hang. I started experiencing some runaway memory usage with a rails app on this server earlier so I shut our site down and was in the middle of performing some REE/Passenger upgrades. I've updated the config to avoid similar issues in the future so hopefully our slice will be playing nice from now on. Was the additional CPU usage that I've been seeing this morning related to the Xen bug? It didn't appear to be originating from anything running on our VPS. Is the server being restarted or access restricted at the moment? My ssh sessions just appeared to hang.
